Terms of Service

1. Overview

Kyoshi provides a session booking platform connecting independent practitioners with their clients. By using our service, you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You may delete your account at any time via Settings.

3. Practitioner responsibilities

  • Practitioners are independent service providers, not employees of Kyoshi.
  • Practitioners set their own availability, pricing, and cancellation policies.
  • Practitioners must honour confirmed bookings or provide timely cancellation.
  • Excessive cancellations (more than 3 in 30 days) may result in account review.

4. Payments

  • Payments are processed by Stripe and go directly to the practitioner’s account.
  • Session pack credits expire 12 months from purchase date.
  • Unused credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase (EU consumer withdrawal right).
  • After 14 days, credits remain usable until expiry but are not refundable for cash.

5. Cancellations

  • Free cancellation is available within the practitioner’s cancellation window (set by each practitioner).
  • Late cancellations: the session credit is consumed and not refunded.
  • Practitioner cancellations: the client’s credit is always refunded.

6. Platform subscription

  • Free tier: Up to 5 active clients.
  • Pro tier: €19/month, unlimited clients, 30-day free trial.
  • Cancel anytime in Settings. No dark patterns.
  • Booking links continue to work on all tiers.

7. Prohibited use

You may not use the platform to:

  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities.
  • Impersonate another person or entity.
  • Interfere with the operation of the service.
  • Scrape or extract data from the platform.

8. Limitation of liability

Kyoshi facilitates connections between practitioners and clients. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of sessions conducted through the platform. The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

9. Account termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, active wallet credits are refunded and upcoming bookings cancelled.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
